Audi Pre sense is a feature offered at different levels and the first step is Audi pre sense basic. Since it is the first level, Audi makes basic interventions in terms of safety. In line with the information coming from the ESP sensors, the hazard warning lights are turned on automatically and the windows are closed according to the situation of danger. Active seat belts are activated and if the vehicle has air suspension, the position is determined according to the possible situation. In the advanced stages of the system, there are pre sense front, pre sense rear and pre sense plus options. With Audi pre sense front, as the name suggests, measures and interventions are offered against the actions that will take place in the front of the vehicle. In the first stage, audible and visual warnings are made against possible accidents that may occur in the front. The second warning occurs as a short braking and the driver is warned. In the third level, if the driver does not react, partial braking is done automatically by the vehicle. In some Audi models, this also happens as full braking, preventing a possible collision. If the vehicle is equipped with Audi pre sense plus feature, a warning is given first with low braking, if the driver does not realize the danger, partial braking takes place at half power and if the danger continues to increase, the seat belts are tightened with full power braking. All this happens half a second before the collision, when the collision is no longer unavoidable. The system reduces the vehicle's speed to 40 km/h. In the Audi pre sense rear feature, measures are taken against collisions from behind and the impact of the accident is reduced. The windows and sunroof are closed, the hazard warning lights are turned on automatically and the seat belts are tightened. Even if the vehicle has a memory seat, the seats are brought to the best position against an accident.
